Bass Fishing Club Team Competes In First Collegiate Event

NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast Club Bass Fishing team competed in its first event over the weekend at the Carhartt Bassmaster College Eastern Tour 2018 at Cherokee Lake, TN.

Two teams represented IU Southeast in one of the largest fields ever in the tournament's history. Both recorded catches and weighed in. One of the IU Southeast teams caught a limit on both Thursday and Friday and finished the tournament with a total of 19 pounds, 13 ounces, just four pounds shy of earning a trip to the national championship. This team finished ahead of IU Bloomington, the University of Louisville and University of Kentucky.
