Bass Fishing Team Wins Indiana Qualifier

NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast club bass fishing team won the Indiana Qualifier in only its second event in its history over the weekend.

The team of Gavin Lagle and Atom Ward recorded five catches that totaled 16 pounds, five ounces at Lake Monroe in Bloomington. They defeated teams from Indiana University, Purdue, IUPUI and Indiana State.

The Grenadiers will now head to Oklahoma's Lake Tenkiller for the College Bassmaster National Championship next month.
