Men’s Tennis Falls 6-3 To Centre College

DANVILLE, Ky. – The IU Southeast men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Centre College on Sunday.

In doubles action, Eli Franks and Connor Mason fell 8-2 and Camden Jones and Aiden DeWitt forced a tiebreak before falling 8-7 (4).

The No. 3 doubles team of Nolan Patterson and Eric Whitehouse earned an 8-5 win.

In singles play, Eli Franks won 6-4, 6-4 over Ty Bush at No. 1 singles and Aiden DeWitt battled back after dropped the first set 6-2 to win at No. 4 singles 2-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Camden Jones lost a tight three-set match at No. 3 singles 2-6, 6-4, 6-3.

The Grenadiers open conference play on Saturday at Oakland City.
