Autumn Oehlstrom Earns First Team NAIA All-American Honors

NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Senior outfielder Autumn Oehlstrom has been named to the 2023 NAIA All-American First Team.

The senior from Lisbon, Ohio led the NAIA with a regular season batting average of .510. Oehlstrom finished the season with 14 home runs and 51 RBI, both of which led the River States Conference. She also led the RSC with 33 extra-base hits and 146 total bases.

Oehlstrom finished the 2023 campaign (including postseason) ranking No. 6 in the NAIA in home runs, batting average (.480) and hits (84).

She is the first IU Southeast softball student-athlete to receive NAIA All-American First or Second Team honors. She is the first IU Southeast student-athlete to be named a first team All-American since Jazzmarr Fergusion in 2011.

Oehlstrom was also named the 2023 RSC Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year. Oehlstrom started every game for IU Southeast, who went on to win the RSC Regular Season Championship and advance to the NAIA Softball Opening Round for the eighth time in school history.
