Grenadiers Fall To IU Kokomo on Senior Day

NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast women's tennis team fell 5-0 to IU Kokomo on Senior Da for Jeffersonville native Emma Ellis.

Anna Littlefield and Katie Weimer won at No. 1 doubles 6-3 but the Cougars earned the doubles point with a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 doubles.

In singles play, the Cougars swept play.  The closest match was at No. 1 singles where Anna Littlefield won the first set 6-1 before falling 6-2 and 10-6 in a tiebreak.

In her final home match at IU Southeast, Emma Ellis fell 6-1 with partner Elana Hamby at No. 2 doubles and lost a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 3 singles to Riley Hiser.

IU Southeast travels to Midway University on Saturday and Marian University on Sunday.
